Wall Township Committeeman Mike Clayton (center) looks on as Committeeman Bob Peters (left) presents a $1000 scholarship check to Kelsi Hunt and Joe Penniplede (right), owner of Brielle Sports Club, presents a check to Rebecca Reiff.  Ms. Hunt and Ms. Reiff were chosen to receive this year's scholarships based on their essays about the life and presidency of Gerald R. Ford.  Penniplede, a Wall resident, donated the scholarship funds this year.  The Wall Township Republican Club sponsors a scholarship program that is open to Wall Township students who will be graduating high school and going on to pursue a higher education. Founded in 2003, the scholarship program is intended to recognize the outstanding achievements of Wall Township students.
